State Director: Margie Kay
Interim State Director: Margie Kay
Due to the unfortunate death of Greg Andersen, former State Director for Iowa MUFON, Margie Kay has taken this position temporarily. Margie is a licensed Private Investigator and 40-year veteran UFO investigator and author of 20 books. She hosts the MUFON MIDWEST podcast and serves as the webmaster and newsletter for Central Region MUFON.
Assistant State Director: Carl Harper
Carl Harper is serving as the interim ASD for Iowa. Carl is a retired sheriff and served in the military. He is also the Chief Investigator for Missouri MUFON. Carl Harper is a USAF Security Police Veteran and a retired 40-year Law Enforcement Officer. He served as Chief of Police and Sergeant with a Sheriff’s Department. He joined the Civil Air Patrol and obtained the rank of Lieutenant specializing in Communications and emergency services.
In Memory of Greg Andersen
MUFON investigators and members are mourning the passing of Greg Andersen, who servied as the Iowa State Director for many years, taught classes for investigators, and was always available to assist others in their quest for answers. We will all miss Greg.
