Monthly meetings are held for official MUFON members in all states in the Central Region on fourth Saturdays at 2:00 pm Central Time. To join MUFON as an official member, please visit www.mufon.com for more information. An email notice with ZOOM link will be provided before the scheduled meeting. A guest speaker will do a presentation and State officers share information about their states during this meeting.

Assistant State Director: Jerred Nelson
Jerred “Jer” Nelson serves as Co-Director of Northland MUFON, overseeing investigations and outreach across Northern Minnesota and North Dakota. He is also the Assistant State Director for both Minnesota and North Dakota within Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), a certified Field Investigator, and a member of MUFON’s Experiencer Resource Team (ERT), where he supports individuals who have had close encounter experiences.
Jer brings over 41 years of aviation experience to his work as a UFO investigator. He began his career in the United States Marine Corps as an enlisted crew member, serving as a door gunner and mechanic on the Bell UH-1 Iroquois and Bell AH-1 Cobra. In 1989, he transitioned to the United States Army to attend Warrant Officer Candidate School and flight training, where he went on to fly the Boeing AH-64 Apache.
